A structural sealant glazing curtain-wall or semi-curtain wall system; with fixed frames and Italian windows of equal visible surface that is separated by 14mm joint gaps.
The system is composed of a wide range of mullions and transoms fixed by screws or junction blocks.
The thermal break frame profile allows glazing from 20mm up to 24mm.
The availability of measure made vulcanized gasket frames saves manufacturing time (no angle sealing) and achieves excellent thermal insulation (Uf=1.85 W/Km²) complying with the European standards RT 2010.
The bonding of glazing units to the workshop assembled frames must be realized by a company holding the PASSVEC license.
All the frames are fitted out with a safety device preventing glass fall in the event of sealant failure.
Fitting in to the structure can be accomplished by drop-and-lock, screw avoiding device for fixed frames or by using projection arms for Italian windows.
The technical concept favors the reduction of fabrication and installation time, while guaranteeing top quality of the finished product.
